시리도록 차분한 밤공기에 꿈을 알아차리고 눈을 떴다.

천근의 새벽.

몸이 노곤한 연유는 하루 내 심신을 고갈시킨 일 탓도 있지만

깜빡 정신이 들어선 현실에서 흘러내리고 있는 긴긴 꿈결을 타고 노닌 덕이겠지.

흐리멍텅하니 방구석 어느 곳에 응시를 던진 채

썰물처럼 흘러가버리는 꿈을 좇아본다.

까만 밤하늘은 어떤 많은 것들을 담고 있는지

손으로 감각해 보려 해도 쥘 수 없는 것처럼

꿈은 생각처럼 논리와 체계로 설명할 수도, 기억할 수도 없다.

이 밤은, 오롯이 혼저 눈 뜬 나만의 사유.

가장 가까이서 존재하고 있는 고양이마저 깊은 잠, 꿈속에서 숨을 쉰다.

어둑서니가 그득하여도

한평생 늘 그런 밤이었기에 그러려니,

방안의 시공을 벗어난 그밖의 푸른 밤을 떠 올려 볼 수 있다.

미리내는 차고 비는 달빛을 통하여 지상에 흐르고

멀고 가까운 구르뫼 하늘의 푸름을 알게 한다.

무거운 눈꺼풀을 꿈벅이며 생각하기에

내일의 일상은 지구 반대편으로부터 굴러오고 있기에

쏟아지는 잠을 어쩌지 못하고 몸을 뉘인다.

방도 까맣고, 감은 눈의 시야도 까만데

이 밤은 푸를 것만 같다.

달 밝은 밤이라서일까

몇 광년에 아리우는 별들의 속삭임 때문일까
