많은 것들이 수면 위로 떠오른다.

이내 침잠하고 물결만 원을 그리며 일렁일 뿐이다.

그러한지 오래된 일상은

해오름으로 하여 지난한 몸뚱아리를 일으켜야 하기도

해거름에 그 모든 것들을 보상받듯이 해님을 대면할 수 있다.

때로는 노랗게 주홍으로 선홍으로 세상을 물들이며

낙하하는 저녘의 많은 것들은

바람처럼 흘러가는 많은 순간들을 돌이켜보면

늘 잔잔했던 것만 같다

자연은 늘 고요한 것만 같다

저물어가는 모든 것들은 땅으로 향한다

그 중심으로 기립하여

보고 있는 서녘 바다의 태양은

하강하며

그와 그리고 모두에게 내어주는 노을빛 융단을 드리운다

물결치는 그것은 고향 같기도

지난 시간과 어제와 과거 같기도

갈 수 없을 것 같기도 하다

오늘의 나는 다행히도 몸을 뉘일 대지가 있고

고단한 육신을 내일도 일으켜줄 태양이 뜨겠지

바라보기에는 한 치 앞만을 살아가야만 하는 세상에서

돌고 돌고 도는 세상에서

.
